Texas Rangers investigating officer-involved shooting in Fort Worth
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Fort Worth Tuesday, the agency said in a statement.

The department said the incident happened in the 3600 block of Outlet Road in Fort Worth and its Texas Rangers have opened a probe into the matter although DPS did not publicly identify the law enforcement agency or the officer involved.
Fort Worth police said in a statement on social media that no officer from the department was involved in the shooting and that its officers were only at the scene to assist.

“There is no danger to the public,” the DPS statement said.
