After a hot and sunny Saturday, Sunday is forecast to have chances of heavy showers and thunderstorms throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Day temperatures are expected to top out near 85 degrees before cooling down to 61 degrees at night.

Dallas-Fort Worth is looking at an 80% chance of precipitation Sunday with possible heavy rain, damaging winds and hail, the weather service’s forecast said. The threat of severe weather is slated to increase starting afternoon and then, through the evening.
Barring a slight chance of showers in the early hours of Monday, the rest of the coming week is looking clear and sunny for North Texas. Days are expected to be hot with highs in the 80s and 90s.
