The Korean American Chamber of Commerce North Texas and the Korean Society will hold a news conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday to discuss Tuesday’s fatal shootings at K Towne Plaza and a nearby apartment.

At two separate scenes Tuesday morning, police said two people were killed and three others were wounded. A 69-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shootings, which, according to police, were related to a business meeting.

Carrollton police Chief Roberto Arredondo said during a news conference that the man was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit near H Mart at 2625 Old Denton Road.
