A 28-year-old man was identified as the person who died following a shooting in east Oak Cliff last week.

Ryheem Davis died on May 5 at 11:35 p.m. at Baylor University Medical Center, according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office.

Dallas police officers responded to reports of a shooting about 10:25 p.m. in the 3000 block of Prosperity Avenue, according to a previous statement.

Investigators determined Davis was shot at the location, the statement said.
